 We are evolving! What began as Private Label Trio has grown into something broader and more dynamic - a collaborative network of professional musicians dedicated to delivering exceptional live music across a range of venues and events. This marks the beginning of a new chapter that opens the door to even more musical versatility, depth, and creative synergy.

What has not changed?  We unite diverse cultural influences with the rich language of Jazz and Jazz Fusion to create dynamic, refined performances to deliver polished, professional experiences tailored for high-end settings.  Our repertoire weaves together classic standards, soulful ballads, Latin grooves, and fusion to both honor tradition and push creative boundaries. 

Our mission remains - to spread the love of Jazz, engaging and connecting communities through the power and versatility of live music.

  Private Label Trio was formed in January of 2023 in Jersey City, through a shared passion for jazz and global influences. The group fused European and Latin roots into a unique sound that’s both intimate and expansive.

Since its debut at the Crossroads of Garwood Jazz Festival in February of 2023, Private Label has captivated audiences at venues ranging from beachside lounges to esteemed NYC jazz clubs. 

Today, the project features drummer Peter Roefaro who continues to lead and expand the vision. What began as a tight-knit trio has since evolved into Private Label Collective—a curated roster of high-level, diverse musicians.

Designed for upscale restaurants, festivals, corporate functions, cultural events, and intimate local settings, Private Label Collective offers a professional, flexible approach to live music. 

At its core is a mission to spread the love of jazz, honor its legacy, and connect audiences through the timeless, boundary-crossing power of live performance.
