Music has always been a cherished part of Gustavo's life. Born in Venezuela, Gustavo was exposed to a rich tapestry of musical influences which stayed with him when his family moved to the US. It was Gus' first iPod and Eric Clapton's Unplugged album which sparked his passion for the guitar. Ultimately, the world of Bill Evans and jazz became mesmerizing.
Pursuing his musical interests Gustavo became captivated by artists who reinterpret existing music in fresh and innovative ways. Influential figures like Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau, Mark Whitfield, Bill Frisell and Julian Lage have profoundly shaped Gus' musical perspective. Gus always brings his own interpretation to every piece he plays, ensuring that the music is distinctly his own.
Gustavo is a recent graduate of the NJCU Jazz Performance Program, an active performer on the tri-state music scene, and an extraordinary teacher.l.

Federico has a strong passion for jazz. A passion he cultivates after work, studying, composing, and playing jazz in the New Jersey and New York area.
He recently published a book called "The Mindful Leader, The Sound of Business," in which he brings together a mindful leadership approach with a strong connection to music as a method to develop sustainable business ecosystems and communities.

Peter discovered drums at the age of 14 and instantly became hooked.
Peter's musical interests span all genres and eras. Born in Poland, Peter grew up in a Polish-Italian home with diverse musical influences. Peter's drumming includes rock and pop bands, Latin and salsa ensembles, big bands, theater productions and jazz bands. Peter is also the founder of Private Label Trio.
Peter has shared the stage with notable greats in the jazz arena. He studied under Winard Harper, Shirazette Tinnen, Tony DeAgustine, and Alvester Garnett. Their knowledge and mentorship have been invaluable to Peter's musical development, allowing him to form his unique style.
Peter is a senior at NJCU studying Jazz Performance. He is also a drum teacher with School of Rock. Peter is happiest when reaching his audience through performances.
